Dr. Aparicio, O.D. is a University of California Riverside alumni. While completing her bachelor's in engineering, she worked as a vision therapist. In therapy, she helped non-neurotypical pediatric patients improve their visual skills to enhance their academic performance. Dr. Aparicio, O.D.  pursued her Doctorate of Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences. While pursuing her education in Optometry, she was awarded the Core Values Award 2019 and Drs. Gandhi/Silani Annual Scholarship for Clinical Excellence and Leadership 2020. She visited Mexico and Peru to provide free comprehensive eye exams to those in need. She has worked in private practice where she gained experience prescribing yoked prisms to assist patients’ visual rehabilitation after acquired brain injuries and cerebrovascular accidents. She has experience in treating children with strabismus, amblyopia, and binocular vision dysfunctions that impact learning. She provides optometric services in English and Spanish for infants starting at 6 months and for neurotypical, non-neurotypical, verbal and non-verbal children and adults.
